No need to apologize! 10% on $5. is only 50 cents, about the same cost of a stamp and envelope. Most fundraiser sites do charge between 7-10%. It pays for the convenience of donating online. Allie and Aaron raised $10,000. for FA research last year this way on Firstgiving.com. Some people will never donate if they have to write out a check and find a stamp to mail it. Both ways work, good luck!
